How to Make a Soup Diet
The diet consists of replacing the main meals (lunch and dinner) with a soup, always the same, created for the diet (see recipe below). Ideally, do not alter the ingredients of the recipe and, according to the professional, follow the menu for a maximum of one week. In addition to the soup, fruits, vegetables and teas are allowed during the diet.
If the individual wants to lose more weight, it is possible to redo the diet, but only after 4 to 7 days of rest. During this period it is imperative to maintain a balanced diet and with non-liquid foods.
Remember, the diet is not recommended for pregnant women and individuals with hypoglycemia. In addition, during the execution of the diet plan, it is indicated to practice only light and low intensity exercises, such as walking.
In addition to substituting lunch and dinner for soup, other rules require that you follow the other meals. Check out:
1st day: Eat all the fruit you want (no exaggeration) except banana and avocado. Drink tea, grape juice (without sugar) and water at will. Take the soup at least 2 times a day;
Day 2: Eat all the fresh vegetables and greens you want (they can be raw or cooked). At dinner, if you like, have a large potato baked with butter. Take the soup whenever you want.
3rd Day: Eat fruits and vegetables at ease, except potatoes; take the soup at least twice a day.
Day 4: Eat up to 8 bananas and drink skim milk at will. Take the soup at least 2 times a day.
5th Day: Eat from 280 to 400 grams of grilled red or white meat, with a portion of fresh, firm tomatoes seasoned with salt, lime and olive oil. Take the soup at least 2 times a day, drink 6 to 10 glasses of water during the day to eliminate uric acid.
Day 6: Eat up to 3 large grilled steaks of red or white meat accompanied with cooked vegetables, except potatoes. Take soup at least 2 times a day. Drink water, coffee, tea and sugar-free juices at will.
Day 7: On the last day the consumption of brown rice, cooked or raw vegetables is allowed. Take the soup at least 2 times a day. Drink water, coffee, tea and unsweetened juices at will.

Healthy diet: the vegetables in the soups are sources of essential vitamins and minerals which makes this diet healthy and safe to follow.
Quick weight loss: Diet promotes a rapid loss of weight (up to 1-2 pound every day), although there is loss of water and muscle mass in addition to fat loss.
Easy to do: It is simple and practical to do; the soup diet contains foods that are common and easy to find. This way, it becomes easier to get accustomed to the diet plan and follow it.
Low cost: Ingredients suggested and allowed are not expensive at all. Therefore, they end up having a better cost-benefit than in cases of diets that require “miracle” foods that are, in general, more expensive.
Tips for better results with the Soup Diet
1. Don’t go extreme
Ideally, calorie restriction should be gradual and made with a varied diet. Starting the weight loss program with dieting can lead to loss of lean mass and typical symptoms of lack of food groups in meals such as: dry skin, hair loss, brittle nails, bad mood, bad breath, insomnia, pain headaches and dehydration.
2. Combine the soup with a balanced diet
While on a soup diet, if you balance your other food items, the weight loss will be faster and done in a healthy way.
3. Make recipes with solid foods
It is important for chewing, satiety, pleasure and intestinal stimulation. In addition, a portion of solid vegetables will not have a calorific value much different from the same crushed portion – and, in the end, what counts for the weight loss are the calories ingested, regardless of the form.
4. Include fresh vegetables in the diet
Many vitamins are lost when boiling food. Therefore, the ideal is to consume them also baked, raw or steamed.
5. Prefer homemade soups
You can make large portions and freeze it, so you do not have to cook every day. The time for which the soups can be frozen is 2 to 3 months.
6. Seek professional guidance.
When starting a new diet, the ideal is to count on the evaluation of nutritionists or dietician as we all have different body types and our bodies react differently to different diets.
